Hi there, I’m Emily. I'm a New Jersey native living in Manhattan, New York City - my home for the past 13 years. I first came here to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Women’s Studies at Barnard College, and afterwards received my Master’s at Columbia Journalism School in 2017 and graduate certificate in Media Management from The New School in 2021.

In my time off, I like to travel far and wide, and visit my family in Serbia, Croatia, Washington DC and New Jersey. For leisure, I enjoy reading novels — specifically crime fiction and journalistic nonfiction; running, hiking and playing team adult sports; drawing and crafting; and exploring new restaurants wherever I go.

As an avid strategic communications, public relations, digital media, multimedia production and editorial content development professional, I am passionate about corporate storytelling that is well-researched, informative and digestible. I believe stories should engage audiences, facilitate business exchange, and promote new ideas. I am familiar with a range of digital communications and design tools — including Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, MuckRack, Salesforce and Hubspot.
